DO THESE OBSTACLES TO TEACHING MATH SOUND FAMILIAR TO YOU?

Spoiler Alert: If you're an elementary teacher they probably will. You're DEFINITELY not alone. You're in the right place if you struggle with...

TIME CONSTRAINTS

It's hard to find the time to plan for lessons and prep the materials. Your math block flies by. You are overwhelmed by how much your district expects you to cover during the school year. You are frustrated that you have to move on without all of your students mastering the concepts taught. Meeting everyone's needs is a challenge. You feel like the struggling kids get all your time and the advanced students are not getting the enrichment they need and deserve.

LIMITED RESOURCES

You know you don't have all the resources you need. You want to provide your students with differentiated activities that challenge those that need enrichment and support those who need remediation. You either don't have a district-supplied math curriculum or you have one, but it is lacking and you know you need to supplement it with additional materials, but you are already stretched so thin and you don't have the time to find or create them.

LACK OF STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

You know the more engaged your students are, the more they will learn and retain, yet it is a constant challenge to keep them all focused. You want to work with students in small groups to focus on their individual needs, but it's hard because the students you are not working with are often off task and sometimes become a distraction to those around them. You often feel like you are "putting out fires" more than you are teaching.

THE GOOD NEWS IS...

Your math block can quickly become the favorite part of each and every school day for both you and your students! Teachers constantly tell me how what I am about to share with you has not only transformed their instructional practices, but also how much it increased the level of student engagement and the enjoyment they feel when teaching math. Best of all...it has never been easier!

  • Veteran teachers, who despite their years of experience and countless hours of PD, have struggled with implementing what they KNOW would be a better way to teach their students, because it can certainly feel overwhelming.

The Results Have Been Consistent…
Teachers who have used Clutter-Free Classroom's easy-to-follow, step-by-step Guided M.A.T.H. framework have all reported increased student engagement, more time on task, and higher test scores. I WANT MY CLASSROOM TO LOOK GREAT

NOW VISUALIZE THE TIME YOU SPEND TEACHING MATH TO BE ENGAGING AND EFFECTIVE for EVERYONE

This is My Own Success Story...

The Guided M.A.T.H. Framework I created totally transformed my math instruction. I used to struggle with trying to hold the attention of my entire class while I taught a whole group lesson following the district-mandated curriculum. I would then spend the remainder of the math block hustling around the classroom helping the students complete their assignments.

My higher achieving students did not get the enrichment they deserved from me. To make matters worse, I did not feel like I was even meeting the needs of those kids who I was spending the majority of my time with because I continuously had to pause to address behavior issues.

Guided Reading and Reader's Workshop had proven to be such a highly successful method for teaching literacy that I decided to restructure my math block to include rotations, collaborative instruction and small group instruction. I even came up with station names to align with the acronym. That was how the Guided M.A.T.H. Framework originated.

Once I restructured my math block to include guided math and a math workshop approach, things not only changed for the better, but the results far exceeded my expectations.

Here's What Happened...

    • I no longer felt stressed, overwhelmed or filled with dread about teaching math. I became confident and genuinely looked forward to our math block every single day.
    • I finally felt like I was able to properly challenge and motivate my kids who had mastered the grade level skills because I was now dedicating an equal amount of instruction time to those who needed enrichment as those who needed academic support.
    • My entire class was focused, on task, and engaged throughout our entire math block because the framework was so structured and routine. The students all knew the procedures and expectations and they responded so well to the consistency. Behavior problems were no longer an issue, accountability increased, and I was able to teach my small groups without interruptions. It was such an amazing change!
  • To be honest, I HATE standardized testing and don't value it as a genuine assessment of a student's abilities, so I am reluctant to share this. However, I do think it is worth noting that our scores SOARED when we implemented this framework in conjunction with putting a stronger focus on math vocabulary (using the included resources).
  • I was able to stop spending my nights and weekends planning and prepping for math lessons that led to disappointment and enjoyed that time with my family instead.  Seeing how my small group lessons were so much more authentic, personal, and effective than the way I had been teaching made me realize how much of my personal time I had wasted over the years.
I WANT TO EXPERIENCE THAT MAGIC

I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE WONDERING. "WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?"

OH GOSH, I AM SO EXCITED TO TELL YOU THIS PART...

After using the framework in my own classroom for several years, I was asked to train other teachers. I created a written guide on how to do it and it took off like crazy. The part that most excites me is the feedback I have received from the teachers, math coaches and principals who have implemented it at their own schools. It is the testimonials from teachers (literally) around the world that bring me such joy. I can't believe how far the work I did to solve a problem in my own classroom has reached so many students. This is by far the professional accomplishment I am most proud of. I'm even more thrilled to be upgrading it to now include tons of standards-aligned, quality resources, games, centers and activities so busy teachers will no longer need to spend time searching for and prepping materials...your time is too valuable for that!

<--HERE IS WHAT ONE TEACHER SAID ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE SHE HAD IN HER CLASSROOM. You can read more testimonials below.

I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THAT

"I have wanted to try a Math Workshop for a while now but was unsure how to implement it and exactly what students would be able to do independently at each station. I also have to teach our district curriculum so I needed something that would work with that. This product has answered all of my questions and more! Extremely thorough, step by step guide to getting it up and running."

- CHERYL D.
ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM TEACHER

"This product has been a God send. It has completely transformed my math block and I LOVE IT!!!!! Thanks so much. My math runs so smoothly now and I have been chosen as a model classroom for math because of this helpful organizational tool."

GRAYLON
3rd GRADE TEACHER

"I had a bunch of principals visit my room and they all stopped to take pics of my math workshop board :) I love how easy it is to use (both for me and the kids). Thanks so much!"

ERIN
4th GRADE TEACHER

"I first purchased this product to introduce small group guided math when I was student teaching - my host teacher had never done anything like it but allowed me to give it a try. Using this resource as a guide I was successful and even the principal commented on how well the rotations were working. Students were engaged and test scores increased. Fantastic product. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

KEELY
2nd GRADE TEACHER

"I can't express enough how these resources helped me...saved me! I could follow your detailed explanations that you put together to guide me through getting myself set up. Others I have tried, just didn't click for me. They seemed too general. Yours were more specific and help me take one part at a time and not get overwhelmed. THANK YOU! "

SHEILA
1st GRADE TEACHER

"This literally changed the way I teach math! I absolutely love doing the 4 centers. My students scored so well on the end of the year testing and I know it has to do with moving to this way of doing math. She makes it so easy to learn and implement."

Frequently Asked Questions

I realize that the cost of this resource collection is very low considering how jam-packed it is with high quality print-and-go and digital resource. If purchased individually, it would have a value of over $500 PER GRADE LEVEL!

The reason behind the low cost is because I realize that my resources are often purchased by teachers who are using their own money (like how I often did when I was teaching) to provide a high quality education to their students. I truly value you and the great work you do for your students each day and am eager to help you best serve your students and meet their individual needs.

Because of the school closures in the spring of 2020, we recognized a greater need than ever for differentiation. Also, students will be coming to you with gaps from their varied experiences. We knew having access to assessments and a library of materials from the prior grade level would be invaluable to you at this time.

Yes! All of the included resources were created based on specific grade level standards. We used the Common Core Standards as our foundation since many state standards are a variation of the CCSS even if the wording is a bit different.

The Elementary Math Resource Collection now includes standards-based materials for grades 1-5. You will have access to ALL of them!

Yes, we offer a school-wide license. Please contact me at [email protected] with any inquiries.

The product you are purchasing gives you access to a library of digital resources. Unlike a pair of pants or a book, you can't really return a PDF, video, or other file once you've downloaded it. For that reason, all sales are considered final and nonrefundable.
