SUMMARY

"Bird Hugs" by Ged Adamson is a heartwarming and charming picture book that tells the story of a little bird named Bernard. Bernard loves to give hugs, but there's just one problem - his wings are so long that he can't fly with all his friends. Determined to find a solution, Bernard embarks on a journey to explore different ways of learning how to fly but nothing seemed to work. Along the way, he discovers an orangutan who is upset and crying and with Bernards big and long wings he decides to give the orangutan a big hug! After Bernard's big hug all the other animals wanted hugs too and Bernard felt happy and met many new friends! The book beautifully showcases the importance of empathy, creativity, individuality and finding your unique gift in the world! Through its delightful illustrations and gentle storytelling, "Bird Hugs" reminds readers of all ages about the power of kindness and the joy of connection.
