SUMMARY

"Brave Every Day" by Trudy Ludwig is about a young girl named Camila who is constantly worrying about every little thing. Camila has many "what if?" and "I can't" worries throughout her days and thinks that the best solution to her problems is to hide from them. One day Camila's class is going on a field trip to the aquarium where they each have to study a sea animal and give a presentation about it to the class the next week. This all worries Camila but once they get to the aquarium she finds her classmate Kai hiding and scared to see the stingrays. Camila helps Kai face his fears while also learning that her heart is bigger than her fears! The book "Brave Every Day" teaches readers about the power of friendship, while also providing a lesson on kindness, and how to conquer your fears.
