SUMMARY
"Bruce's Big Storm" by Ryan T. Higgins, is a story that follows the relationship between grumpy bear Bruce and his neighbors. When a big storm hits, Bruce's neighbors ask Bruce if they can stay with him in his house during the storm but Bruce does not like company. Despite his initial reluctance, Bruce realizes that a bunny and Nibbs need his help! As he braves the elements and faces various challenges, Bruce's grumpy demeanor starts to soften. Along the way, he receives help from his neighbors who start to become important friends. The book combines humor, heart, and themes of friendship and resilience as Bruce learns the value of caring for others and the warmth that comes from being part of a community.
