SUMMARY

In "I Don't Want to Be a Frog" by Dev Petty and Mike Boldt, a young frog named Frog is dissatisfied with being a frog. He yearns to be something else, like a cat or an owl. Through a humorous dialogue with his father, Frog learns about the unique and wonderful traits of being a frog. As the conversation progresses, Frog realizes that being a frog has its advantages, such as swimming and making loud croaking sounds. Eventually, Frog comes to accept and embrace his identity as a frog. With vibrant illustrations and witty banter, the book delivers a heartwarming message about self-acceptance and embracing one's true nature. "I Don't Want to Be a Frog" is a delightful story that teaches children the value of embracing their own identities and finding joy in who they are.
