SUMMARY

"Do Not Bring Your Dragon to Recess" by Julie Gassman, takes readers on a humorous and imaginative journey. The story follows a young girl who wants to bring her dragon to school but her teacher shares her many worries about a pet dragon at recess. The young girl listens to her teacher and understands the consequences of bringing her pet dragon to school. Although many dragons may cause chaos during recess, the girl believes that her dragon would love to play with her classmates and will be respectful and kind. The girl's teacher always believes in giving everyone a chance, and so to her surprise her student's plan is a success! Through colorful illustrations and witty storytelling, the book imparts valuable lessons about responsibility, problem-solving, and giving everyone a chance!
